Actitivities for everyone on Boracay Island, in the Philippines.
If you are wondering what there is to do in Boracay, you have come to the right place. There are so many things to do on this tropical island that there is something to suit everyone. From sunbathing or watching the Boracay sunsets on a beautiful white sandy beach, to numerous land activities such as golf and buggy rides, sea sports including boating and scuba diving, and for the adventurous there is even cliff jumping, ziplining and rolling down a hill in a large inflatable Zorb ball!
For good reason, Boracay is one of the favourite holiday destinations of the Philippines. The island is only seven kilometres long, but packed with activities to suit everyone.
What to do? Visit one of Boracay's beautiful beaches:
White Beach Boracay:
This is a four kilometer long stretch of white sandy beach on the western side of the island. It is a great place to sunbathe, swim, and watch the magnificent Boracay sunsets. The beach has a sandy pathway along it, that separates the shops, restaurants and resorts from the beach. It is a fun activity to walk along this path, pick up a few souvenirs and trinkets, stop for a cool refreshing drink, or have a meal at one of the numerous beach front restaurants. The middle section of the beach is the busiest, with live music being played in many venues along the beach front in the evenings (and well into the wee hours of the morning for those who like to party!)
Bulabog Beach is the other main white sand beach, this time located on the eastern side of the island. The central part of the island is less than a kilometre across, and you can walk from Bulabog Beach to White Beach in under ten minutes!
Although the sand on this side of the island is not as soft and fine as on White Beach, Bulabog Beach has an upbeat and trendy vibe as it has become the water sports hub of Boracay.
In the months of November to April, Bulabog Beach is commonly regarded as the best beach in Asia for windsurfing and kite boarding. Several top international windsurfing and kite boarding (kitesurfing) competitions are held here annually. With the steady onshore wind Bulabog Bay becomes a playground for kitesurfers and windsurfers, and the sky is filled with colourful kites. In the summer months when the wind has changed direction, Bulabog beach becomes the center for other water sports such as banana boating, jet skiing, flying fish and parasailing.
The sundeck at Palm Breeze Villa Resort is the perfect vantage point to watch their antics, all year round.

Palm Breeze Villa is an award winning boutique resort set on the cliff at the northern end of the beach, offering guests luxurious accommodation and magnificent views over the entire bay.
Puka Beach is a small but beautiful beach at the northern end of Boracay Island. It is certainly worth a visit while you are in Boracay. Named for the puka shells that used to be plentiful along its shores, this beach is still a place of extraordinary beauty. It is a peaceful place compared to White Beach. However, don't be tempted to swim here are the currents are strong and can be danagerous.
Things to do in Boracay: Water Sports:
Bulabog Beach Boracay is known as the best windsurfing and kiteboarding beach in Asia (see above). Other water sports to be found in Boracay include jet skis, banana boats, the flying fish ride, and parasailing. There are water sports centres on the Bulabog Beach front roadway (close to Palm Breeze Villa resort), and you can also find plenty of commissioners wandering up and down White Beach who can help you to book water sports and other activities in Boracay, and will bring you to the correct place.
There are numerous scuba diving shops up and down the length of White Beach offering several dives a day. The diving is good in Boracay and close to shore, so it is easy to do a dive in the morning and be back well before lunch time. The scuba diving shops provide lessons in various languages, equipment hire, provide the boats and carry your equipment making for a very enjoyable time. There are coral gardens, wall dives, a pretty wreck, fish feeding, drift diving, night diving...different dives for all levels of divers are available at various times each day in the numerous dive shops.
Island hopping is another popular activity in Boracay. The Philippines is made up of over seven thousand islands, and it is fun to take a banca boat to explore some of the closest ones to Boracay. Stop off at beautiful quiet beaches, go snorkeling, visit the Crystal Cove island with its beautiful caves and bizarre statues.
Ariel's Point Cliff Jumping:
One of the most popular Boracay activities is to go to Ariel's Point where you can test your nerve jumping off various height boards into the sea, or just watch others take the leap! You can also swim here, and have a buffet lunch for a very reasonable amount.
On land there is a beautiful 18-hole Golf Course , Fairways and Bluewater Golf and Country Club which offers quality golf in a magnificent setting with sea-views. Discounts for the golf can be arranged when you stay at Palm Breeze Villa hotel.
Boracay Horse Riding Stables have been established on Boracay Island for twenty years. They offer horse riding trips around the island. A pleasurable and relaxing way to explore Boracay.
This little island stays busy all night long as White Beach is lined with bars, restaurants, and night clubs. From live music to all the latest hits. Some clubs stay open all night for the die-hard partiers! Also, there is the famous full-moon party held at the Jungle bar at the southern end of Bulabog Beach each full moon.
Other Boracay activities include yoga, cycling, hiking, gyms and much much more.
Relax and unwind in the world class spas, enjoy beach massages, sunset cruises, sunbathing or simply do nothing at all.
